Rules
GENERAL RULES
1. Be polite and respectful to all players, mods and guests. No fighting or derogatory language in the board or cbox will be tolerated. Members caught doing so will be given one warning before they’re banned.
2. Content should fit within the Proboard's rules, I don't want things shut down because you want to get raunchy you Zeus wanna-be.
3. Players are expected to have a high level of literacy, and properly proofread their posts. There is no set word count, but aim for at least two short paragraphs for IC posts.
4. It’s important to maintain an IC/OOC divide. Similarly, IC actions have IC consequences.
5. No godmodding, powerplaying or metagaming will be tolerated. Players who do either of these will be warned twice before they’re banned.
6. Serious IC events such as character death, pregnancies, mass destruction, etc must be discussed and okayed by a mod.
7. Your user name should be a pen name as you are allowed 3 characters per account. Your profile picture can be (with in reason) whatever you would like. We do have a plugin that lets you change your profile picture per post.
ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS
8. If you are going to be away for a week or more, please leave a notice in the absences board.
9. There will be an activity check thread posted at the beginning of each month, players will be alerted through mass PM.
10. Players then have a week to post in the thread with the filled-out template detailing their active characters and a link to an active thread from the past month, or otherwise message the mods if they’re unable to post/make the check.
11. Players who don’t post/check in at all will receive a PM warning at the end of the week. If they don’t respond within 2 days, their characters are archived.
12. Archived characters can be picked up again by PMing a mod, but any positions they previously held may have been taken in their absence.
APPLICATIONS
13. When creating your application, the topic title should be "[Race] last name, first name".
14. To create a new character, all existing characters must have at least 10 IC posts each.
15. Maximum of 3 characters per account. I don't care how many accounts you have as long as you keep active.
16. No characters or faceclaims younger than 14 are allowed.
17. Faceclaims should be anime/drawing. You do not have to face claim but an image is greatly desired for your character.
18. Your character's name shouldn't be your OOC name, your faceclaim's name nor the name of a famous personality. Please google your character's name to confirm it isn't a celebrity's name.
19. Moderators reserve the right to ask players to revise their applications if they feel a character is unfairly strong, offensive, improperly explained or otherwise not ready to be accepted.
THREADS
20. Completed threads should be marked with a [c] in the topic title. Admins will periodically move completed threads to the archives as the forums fill up.
21. Use the topic description to indicate the following: wish type, open/closed, number of players needed.
22. Your character can be in many places at once but is stuck in that period of time. This means if he/she gets stronger by completing another thread while you are still active in the first thread, the "power level" does not update for your character. Try to think linearly.
23. Your God character will not get a temple until after 10 blessings were given.
