Gaining Affinity, Power, Corruption.

.:Afinity:. Humans gain affinity for being in touch with Immortals the more they are exposed to them.  Every time an Immortal works on a wish, either to grant or corrupt, the human gets closer to the realm and power of Immortals.  Over time, when they reach double digits in Affinity, they can start adopting abilities from an Immortal they have been around the most.

This gives humans the opportunity to serve Gods and Demons as vassals or Priests/Priestesses. A human with little Affinity are not affected by Immortal's powers as much, like a defense. At the same time, they cannot harm or have an effect on Immortals themselves. As they have a stronger Affinity they are both exposed to Immortal's powers and Immortals are exposed to them.

.:Power:. Gods start with a rather small, meek area of power. As they gain the energy that is left behind in the wishes of humans, they become stronger and their power reaches farther. Each time a God attempts to work on a human's wish, they will gain a point of power. If they grant the wish, they gain another point of power.

Since there is no way to really justify the strength of a particular Godly or Demonic power, the Power level and Corruption level will give authors an idea of whom should be stronger. If there is a large gap, then the stronger should win pretty much always (unless the two work something out OOCly). Smaller differences can be overcame through cunning. If your character isn't known for being cunning, please don't attempt this.

.:Corruption:. Demons gain power through corruption. Their levels of strength are increased whenever they attempt to corrupt a wish, this gives them one point. If they succeed in corrupting a wish, they gain another point.
